Juniper credit card - need to cancel. Help!

I have read the complaints about Juniper- unfortunately, I applied for a card 4 wks ago - never received the card -- tried calling the ph #s listed -- terrible - response is that they "can't hear me". Can you believe that? So I want to know how all of you have cancelled your card. In my case, since I never received the card, I don't have the card # - they ask for my social sec #, but I am not willing to give that out. Please help! Apparently no one on their end will help me...who can I consult to cancel this?!!!!
